Manufacturing, Delivery
& Returns Policy
very Rogue Bespoke piece is made to order. Due to the bespoke nature of our furniture, manufacturing requirements, lead times and delivery arrangements will vary from piece to piece.
Manufacturing
All of our furniture is individually manufactured and finished to order in our Hertfordshire workshop.
Any manufacturing lead time provided at the point of order is an estimate based on the specification of the piece and our workshop schedule at that time. We will always aim to manufacture your furniture within the timeframe discussed, but bespoke manufacturing can occasionally be affected by material availability, specialist processes, supplier lead times or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where a specific delivery timeframe is important, we recommend discussing this with us before placing your order.
As natural materials form an important part of our furniture, variations in grain, colour, figuring, texture and tone are to be expected. These variations are part of the character of the material and do not constitute a defect.
Bespoke Sizes & Finishes
Many of our pieces can be produced in alternative dimensions, materials and finishes.
We therefore always recommend discussing your requirements with us prior to ordering, particularly where furniture needs to fit within a specific space or where access may be restricted.
Where dimensions or specifications are supplied by the customer, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure these are correct unless Rogue Bespoke has specifically undertaken a site survey or agreed otherwise in writing.
Once an order has entered manufacture, changes to dimensions, materials, finishes or other specifications may not be possible. Where changes can be accommodated, additional costs and revised lead times may apply.
Delivery
We aim to deliver all furniture within the timeframe agreed with you and will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date once your piece is approaching completion.
Because every project is different, the method of delivery will depend on the size, weight, location and installation requirements of the furniture. Delivery may be undertaken by our own team or by a trusted specialist furniture carrier.
Any delivery dates provided are given in good faith. While we make every reasonable effort to meet agreed dates, they should not be treated as guaranteed unless we have specifically confirmed otherwise in writing.
If an unexpected delay occurs, we will keep you informed and arrange the earliest practical alternative.
Access
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure there is suitable access for delivery of the furniture.
Please consider doorways, corridors, staircases, lifts, parking restrictions and any other access limitations before ordering.
If you are unsure whether a piece can be delivered into your property, please speak to us before placing your order.
Additional costs resulting from restricted or unsuitable access, aborted deliveries, specialist lifting equipment or a required return visit may be chargeable.
Installation
Where installation is included, this will be confirmed as part of your order.
Installation requirements vary considerably between products and properties. Any preparation required before our arrival will be discussed with you beforehand.
Unless specifically included within our quotation or order confirmation, electrical work, plumbing, decorating, making good and other third-party works are not included.
Cancellations & Returns
Our furniture is manufactured to order and, in many cases, made to your chosen dimensions, materials or finish.
Once manufacture has commenced, orders cannot normally be cancelled.
Made-to-order, bespoke and personalised furniture cannot normally be returned or exchanged simply because you have changed your mind.
This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or where you otherwise have rights under applicable consumer law.
If you believe there is a problem with your furniture, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can assess the issue and, where appropriate, arrange repair, replacement or another suitable remedy.
Damage on Delivery
We take great care when manufacturing, packaging and delivering our furniture.
We ask that any obvious damage identified at the time of delivery is brought to the attention of the delivery team and reported to Rogue Bespoke as soon as possible.
If you discover an issue after delivery, please contact us promptly with photographs and details of the problem so that we can investigate.
Handmade Furniture
Our furniture is individually made rather than mass-produced. Minor variations between samples, photographs, renders and the finished piece are therefore possible.
Natural timber, stone, metal and other character materials will naturally vary from piece to piece. Patinated, antiqued and hand-applied finishes may also develop and change with use and age.
We consider these characteristics part of the individuality of a handmade piece rather than manufacturing defects.
Questions Before Ordering
Whilst our furniture is available to purchase online, we always recommend discussing sizing, materials, finishes, access and delivery with us prior to ordering.
Every piece and every property is different, and we’re happy to discuss the details before manufacture begins.
